Keeping the Ventilator Chamber Dry

Remove the Ventilator Cartridge from the MOVES® SLC™ after use, and thoroughly wipe down and absorb any liquid found in the MOVES® SLC™ ventilator chamber where the Ventilator Cartridge was installed.  

Do not store the Ventilator Cartridge inside of MOVES® SLC™ when the device is not in use, even between operating on different patients.

MOVES® SLC™ User/Operator Training - Two Days

Using instructor-led curriculum, combining classroom and hands-on education, training courses are designed to provide military and civilian personnel with proper safety procedures, knowledge, technical information, skills, and materials necessary to perform all operations required to successfully accomplish their job tasks. Both Operator and Maintainer courses are available.

Operator courses are intended for students who will be using MOVES® SLC™ in a clinical capacity. Student Operators who attend and participate in operator training will receive instruction on monitoring and evaluating equipment indicators, gauges, manipulating controls and safely operating MOVES® SLC™ including basic tactics, techniques, and procedures for deploying with the MOVES® SLC™. Student Operators will experience didactics and dynamic intervention, demonstrating knowledge of the equipment functions at the end of each learning objective. Students will receive hands-on experience with MOVES® SLC™ as well as access to training materials for ongoing knowledge sustainment.

Review and follow IMMEDIATE – MOVES® SLC™ Battery Instructions and User Information to keep batteries in optimal working condition and to ensure your MOVES® SLC™ system warranty remains in check.

Upon receipt of your MOVES® SLC™ device (or MOVES® SLC™ batteries): CHARGE BATTERIES IMMEDIATELY.

Battery Storage

Batteries stored for prolonged periods should be checked at least every 3 months and recharged as needed to ensure that the minimum 40% charge level is maintained.

Batteries should be stored with a minimum charge of 40% (2 LEDs illuminated).
