MOVES SLC Sustainment

Keep your MOVES® SLC™ in optimal working condition by following the recommended maintenance schedule for the following procedures:

The MOVES® SLC™ Service Support Kit (item# 125973  | NSN # 9999-MC-000-3071) should be purchased prior to beginning maintenance. 

This kit contains items to support the execution of all procedures in the service manual including software updates, device calibrations, service testing etc.

MOVES® SLC™ Maintainer Training - Two Days

Maintainer courses are intended for students who will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of MOVES® SLC™. This training is designed to be implemented in conjunction with the establishment of a customer-led repair depot with associated availability of repair tools and kits. A full description of this self-sustainment capability when deploying MOVES® SLC™ can be found at sustainment web page in the Customer Care website. Student Maintainers who attend and participate in maintainer training will receive instruction on troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of the MOVES® SLC™, performing system preventative maintenance checks and services, as well as replacement of components. Student Maintainers will experience didactics and dynamic intervention, demonstrating knowledge of the equipment functions and service procedures at the end of each learning objective. Students will receive hands-on experience with MOVES® SLC™ as well as access to training materials for ongoing knowledge sustainment.

Review and follow IMMEDIATE – MOVES® SLC™ Battery Instructions and User Information to keep batteries in optimal working condition and to ensure your MOVES® SLC™ system warranty remains in check.

Upon receipt of your MOVES® SLC™ device (or MOVES® SLC™ batteries): CHARGE BATTERIES IMMEDIATELY.

Battery Storage

Batteries stored for prolonged periods should be checked at least every 3 months and recharged as needed to ensure that the minimum 40% charge level is maintained.

Batteries should be stored with a minimum charge of 40% (2 LEDs illuminated).
