Instead of relying on logistically complex oxygen cylinders that last 20–40 minutes, a single MOVES SLC cartridge delivers 8–10 hours of ventilation. In Ornge’s kits it is standard practice to carry 3 cartridges, from a capability standpoint that allows up to 30 hours of ventilation dramatically improving resuscitation capability for patients during prolonged extrication.
